Lampworking is a type of glasswork where a torch or lamp is primarily used to melt the glass. Once in a molten state, the glass is formed with shaping tools and hand movements.

All my beads are handmade by me using only the finest quality glass, fully annealed in my kiln for lasting durability, and thoroughly cleaned of bead release. Even though I make every effort to ensure my glass work is as durable as possible, it is still glass and it can break if dropped on a hard surface or handled too roughly. Thin areas of the beads (such as tails and trunks on animal beads) are especially susceptible to breakage...please keep this in mind when deciding on how to use/display a particular piece.

Little glass creature made with amber colored transparent glass with swirls of opaque green throughout, giving the appearance of moss floating in a swamp. Measures about 20mm tall and 41mm long.

Hollow Orange Jellyfish Lampworked Glass Bead Necklace

Lampworked glass jellyfish made with orange glass which is hollow inside. Necklace is completed with silver plated chain and lobster clasp. Total length is about 16", but I can adjust to any length you like.

Landscape with Tree Lampworked Glass Bead Necklace

Lampworked glass bead made to resemble a green meadow and blue skies. Onto this has been added a raised relief tree with a raku glass trunk. This is a very detailed, extremely labor intensive bead...I use over twenty different colors of glass to achieve this effect. Bead is about 23mm across, 21mm tall, and 13mm thick at its widest points. Completed with silver plated beads and fine chain with a lobster clasp. The total length of the necklace is about 20", but I'll be glad to make it any length you like at no additional cost.

Lemongrass Lampworked Glass Bead Earrings

Lentil shaped lampworked glass beads in swirling shades of green. Beads measure about 17mm across. Earrings are completed spiral headpins, silver plated beads, and surgical steel earwires.

Colorful Ghost Lampworked Glass Bead Necklace

Set of four different colored lampworked glass beads made in the shape of 'ghosts' create this unique necklace. Beads have been lightly etched for a velvety texture and are lined up in a neat row separated by silver plated round beads. Necklace is completed with silver plated chain and a lobster closure.
